Scope

Worked intimately with buyers to create initial design of custom keyboard, taking their preferences into account. Subsequently, sourced suitable components, tuned switches, modified cases, performed custom paintjobs as needed, and carried out final quality assurance through typing test before delivery to customer.

Craft

• Switch tuning with lubricants, spring swapping, and filmed housings.
• Plate and case damping using Poron, PE foam, and custom-cut sorbothane sheets.

Outcomes

• Delivered nearly ten fully custom boards, each with acoustic and tactile profiles aligned to client preferences.
• Orchestrated international supply chains for limited-run plates, artisan keycaps, and PCB batches with no missed delivery targets.
• Built a service playbook covering fit checks, sound profile validation, and post-build maintenance guides.
